Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a nonfiction book about planning ahead of retirement. He has been a financial advisor for more than 20 years. Reconfigurement financial planning involves changing your life at any point and planning ahead. The book offers us advice on ensuring comfort and protection for ourselves.

Reconfigurement financial planning and your life is a turning point. Everyone has hopes, dreams, and aspirations. But how many of us are living our dreams? The author points out that perhaps one needs a crisis or a turning point to make us reconfigure our lives into something rewarding. It is based on several things, but first and foremost, it depends on income. All financial plans are based on one's ability to make money. The aging process has slowed, and we're living longer, so one needs to plan carefully for their future.

The author has pointed out many measures, such as budgeting, management, career assessment, investments, retirement plans, and insurance policies. This insight into the future gives us hope. We must determine where and what we will spend our hard-earned money on. We are free, and our only limits are self-imposed.

The author also emphasizes that ''there are two sides to every coin." The author tells a story about situations where bad things lead to good fortune or can be a turning point in their lives. The circumstances we perceive can be hidden opportunities.
The book is well-written and informative and gives us insights into planning. It gives us perspective on how to deal with the problems of modern financial planning. The book is humorous and interesting. The book is professionally edited and has no errors. The book can be read by anyone and is recommended for those interested in financial planning, planning ahead, and seeking early retirement. There is nothing I disliked about the book. I would rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.
