Kalliope Barlis proclaims that we are not just a part of the universe. We are the universe. Every golfer already possesses everything required to achieve greatness - what is needed is only to tap into the resources already mirrored in every cell. This powerful and awe-inspiring message can uplift the game of golf and every sphere of one's life! The author, a licensed NLP coach, has explained how Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) can act as an effective tool to bring out the best in every golfer. The book offers insight into the mind-brain-body connection and how one can effectively harness it to optimize performance. The author reiterates upgrading golfing equipment would be unnecessary if the players constantly update and upgrade their minds to play their best games. There are dedicated chapters on strategies that can turn every shot into a good shot, the swish pattern to achieve excellence, visualizing the future and planning for it today, and honing skills to achieve mastery while practicing on the range or at home. The book delves into internal and physical strategies and the significance of maintaining routine to achieve consistency in the game. The illustrations in the appendix aptly supplement the techniques discussed in the book. The author motivates, guides, and challenges the readers to discover and explore their true potential every moment, every day. Given Barlis's credentials as a licensed NLP coach, NLP trainer, NLP master practitioner, and golf improvement specialist, this book is valuable for every golf player.
I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5. This is because I could not find a single negative thing about this book. The simple, lucid language without too much golfing terminology aids quick and easy understanding. The excellent editing adds to the flavor of the book. Kudos to the author for such an inspiring read!
Even a non-golfer can enjoy and learn about golf and beyond from this book.
