How to Be a Superstar Salesperson by Audri White is a short and straight-to-the-point book that outlines practices to help sales people become the best at what they do. The author carefully demonstrates how to implement the principles of CAPI, SPIN, and FAB to achieve the results you’ve been searching for as a salesperson. Audri also explains how to build strong connections with potential customers and how to pitch in a way that turns prospects into customers.

The structure of this book is great. The author painstakingly explains each principle, and Audri didn’t stop there—she included examples to show how it really works. My favorite principle is CAPI. I also liked the fact that the author stressed that this book is for everyone because, at one point or another, we are all trying to sell something to someone. As a parent, you might have to sell an idea to your child or children.

Additionally, the author’s language is simple and professional. Audri clearly explains every single term she uses in the book. This ensures that both salespeople and non-salespeople have a smooth and enjoyable reading experience. The book is also professionally edited.

It’s also interesting to note that Audri didn’t just glorify the act of selling or focus only on techniques to secure a “yes.” She also explored the other side of the coin: receiving a “no” from prospects. Audri explains how to handle rejection and still succeed as a superstar salesperson. She keeps it real—it’s not always going to be a “yes,” even if your pitch is perfect. However, she shows there are ways to work around it.

Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about this book. Instead, I feel lucky and glad that I got to read it. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to salespeople, business owners, and everyone who aims to convince others in general.
