Snatched up to Heaven! was written by Jemima and Arvind Paul with the intention of making God famous and preparing people for their eternal destiny. This brief but powerfully impactful book shares testimonies given from their two young daughters about dreams they had of visiting heaven and hell. This book will leave a lasting impression on its readers.
This book is composed of the testimonies of these young girls, who had visions or dreams of heaven and hell. The authors share these accounts in ten chapters about heaven and ten chapters about hell. They offer interpretations of the children’s visions, using Biblical scriptures to clarify the dreams. This book is unique in that the testimonies from these young girls provide readers with a remarkable gift: vivid descriptions of what heaven looks like, how people in heaven live, and how the people in hell suffer. The details and terms provided by the girls are backed by scripture. The authors demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the Bible and have written a thought-provoking, inspirational book. The tone of Snatched Up to Heaven! is reverential and spiritual, aligning with its purpose of preparing people for their eternal destiny. The term “hell” and other descriptions of suffering are present, they are used in a biblical context to communicate the gravity of the visions shared by the children. The language is appropriate for the book that offers such a profound spiritual message and is neither vulgar nor offensive.
The authors encourage readers to believe in and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. On page 27, Jemima and Arvind Paul emphasize the importance of having the faith of a child, saying, “We are to believe in God with simple trust and childlike faith. Faith without intellectual understanding.”
The authors have provided an acceptance prayer and encourage readers to be role models in following Christ. The epilogue offers insight into why this book was written. YouTube links are provided for readers to view the girls’ video testimonies. Family pictures of the authors and their children, as well as artwork the kids created based on their dreams, are also included.
I rate this book 5 out of 5. Though brief, it is exceptionally well-written, organized, and well-edited. The content is clear, and the visions described are both thought-provoking and inspiring. This book resonated deeply with me on a personal level, leaving a lasting impression. It serves as a powerful inspiration for anyone seeking to learn more about the Bible, heaven, and hell.
