Shine by Rochelle Brandon, MD. is a motivational and educational book for teenage girls. While they are still young, communicating and controlling their emotions is important. Teenage girls have unimaginable power. Recognising the positive and the negative is important. The book begins by breaking all the myths and misconceptions that people have. It teaches how to build self-esteem and balance everything. Other topics are directing our thoughts, facing our fears, and improving our self-image. It also shows how to connect with a community for constant personal development.

This book teaches us to value our worth, recognise our strengths, and develop our self-esteem. It will take us on a path of self-discovery and personal growth. The author teaches how the power of saying ‘No’ is crucial. How do you think your life is going? What do you feel about yourself? If you don't have proper answers, get a copy of Shine, and you might get more clarity.

I liked the author’s simple writing style. Rochelle shared life lessons on managing emotions, making proper decisions, and controlling ourselves. The exercises and self-reflecting statements were useful to me. Even though I am not the author’s target audience, I found many concepts helpful. The author has an inspiring and motivating tone in her writing. It will attract teenagers and inspire them to do something. I am interested in reading more books by Rochelle in the future.

I found the practical concepts in this book informative. It taught me to keep the momentum, set new goals, celebrate my accomplishments, and surround myself with supportive people. Every reader will find something helpful to take away from this book. There is nothing to dislike in this book.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It deserves a full rating. There is no reason to reduce it. It was written very well. I did not come across any notable errors. This book has been professionally edited. I recommend Shine primarily for teenagers and young adults. It will help them gain clarity about the present and the future. Adults will also find something useful in this book. Grandparents and parents can give this book as a present to their grandkids and kids. Teenagers can carry Shine wherever they go.
