๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐๐บ ๐ญ: ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ๐ด & ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐บ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐บ ๐๐ต ๐๐ข๐ด ๐๐ญ๐ธ๐ข๐บ๐ด ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ๐ต ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ฆ by Yarrow Diamond is a book that highlights the technological transformation the world has undergone over the years. Yarrow took time to discuss several issues surrounding technology and give her opinion on how well to approach the inclusion of technology going forward.
I proudly give this book ๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ rating. I enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the end. Yarrow used a simple language that everyone can understand. Even those who are not technologists will understand everything discussed herein and will find the book interesting. I loved how smoothly the book flows.
Yarrow delved into key issues around the incorporation of technology into business, discussing the importance and dangers of the incorporation.
The author discussed several case studies of companies that have leveraged technology to make fortunes. Apple, Paypal, Starbucks, Netflix, and Nike are some of the examples discussed.
The author extensively discussed space for AI, cloud computing, generative AI, technology in communication, and the importance of 'Geek Speak' to both the technologist and the business owner. But to what extent can we trust the results of AI? Are the results of AI influenced by human or data bias? Grab a copy of this book to find out.
Yarrows closing thoughts refresh the reader with highlights of the way forward in the use of technology. She extensively acknowledged the limitations of technology and gave a strategy on how to collaborate on the human + IT approach in order to harness the strengths of both human and technology with an aim of striking a harmonious balance.
I commend Yarrow for a flawlessly and professionally edited work. I enjoyed reading this book. I recommend it to business people who wish to understand how well to incorporate technology into their business operations. By reading this book, they will realize that technology is not an end in itself but a means to facilitate inclusive growth and promote sustainable development.
