Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Snatched Up to Heaven is an inspirational Christian book by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul. It is a true story of two little girls, Deepika and Priyanka, who share their dreams and visions about heaven and hell with their parents. The dreams and visions tell of a deep chasm between heaven and hell that cannot be crossed over even in the afterlife. More than one correspondence and coherence between the dreams of the girls and the biblical account of heaven and hell appear to be the primary motivation for Jemima's writing. The book presents some of the powerful teachings of Christianity and important lessons about heaven and hell. It is a captivating story that thoroughly explores the Holy Bible and enables a better understanding of faith and its unlimited benefits.
Deepika and Priyanka take us through the mystery of heaven. Their visions and dreams tell us about heaven's location, who lives there, how it feels to be there, what happens there, and more. You will get clear descriptions of biblical characters like God, Jesus, and Noah. Although the girls use childish language, their visions are detailed enough to create clear mental images in the reader's mind. I am glad that Jemima wrote these visions and dreams without changing the childish language, giving this book authenticity. Moreover, there are a lot of striking similarities and differences between heaven and Earth that left me intrigued. Based on what I know about hell, I was scared when I learned that they also visited there. Before reading the visions and dreams about hell, I was concerned about how Jesus felt about the people in hell. However, the conversation between Jesus and the girls while in hell helped me appreciate his kind and caring nature.
I can tell that Jemima is an attentive and patient listener. Her ability to listen and analyze the dreams and visions allowed her to find corresponding scriptural verses, giving this book credibility. The Bible verses were neither changed nor their original meanings tempered with. This book has been made user-friendly in several ways. First, the detailed comparison of heaven and hell using tables enhances the reader's understanding. Second, colorful drawings by Deepika and Priyanka give a better description of heaven and hell. Third, the authors use simple language to convey their message, making the book accessible to many readers. Lastly, the concise nature of the book allows for multiple readings.
The editing team did well; I encountered no errors while reading. There is nothing I dislike about this book. I rate this book five out of five stars because it is insightful and inspirational. I recommend this book to Christians.
