Roadmap to the End of Days: Demystifying Biblical Eschatology to Explain the Past, the Secret to the Apocalypse and the End of the World is a detailed eschatological study on the roles of history, time, and God’s divine purpose in the world, with the purpose of outlining how man fits into God’s plan for the universe. Friedmann answers some of the most difficult life questions of ontology plaguing mankind from birth by examining the revelations in scripture, such as, why did God create the world? where are we now in history of the world? and, what can I expect in the future?

Roadmap to the End of Days is the third in the sequence of the former books by this author, entitled The Genesis One Code: Harmonizing the biblical Genesis creation account with scientific theory and observation showing convergence between modern science and religion.(Inspired Studies Book 1) and The Broken Gift: Harmonizing the biblical Genesis creation account of man and the scientific account of human origins.(Inspired Studies Book 2).

Friedmann’s examination of human history from creation of the universe until the end of times is taken from the Bible, the Kabbalah and the Torah. His premise is that history is no accident but there is a purpose to it all, and his charts predict time frames for the coming of the Messiah and the Resurrection of the Dead. He shares his research with comprehensive charts and timelines showing how there are parallels connecting biblical events with recent historical events, and with these patterns predicts how they will be repeated in the future end of days.

I appreciated Friedmann’s serious and thoughtful research, which outlines some of the most complex concepts of religious studies by guiding the reader through various theories connected to religious literature, and enlightens the reader into how our present-day world and man’s place in this history has parallels to the religious literature. He examines how history changed based on man's free will and how man's free will continues to play a part in history and eschatology. Friedmann places world history within the context of God's Divine Plan. The book concludes that the divine purpose will finally culminate at the end of days with a completion of human wholeness, making this worldly journey worthwhile.

Friedmann uses a lot of historical and biblical references to make his points. The reader should be prepared to read a lot of biblical history in summary that is currently recorded in religious literature and in the history books, as well as a detailed analysis of these records, which to a person unfamiliar to the background or for someone unconcerned about detail may not appreciate. To the religious scholar, this book offers a world of insights into religious and human history and the interpretation of that history in the universe. In spite of its painstaking analysis that requires a lot of personal evaluation of his ideas and consideration about its application and relevance, the book is not difficult for a layman to understand, so for being good for anyone to appreciate, I give this book 4 out of 4 stars for insights into the religious literature and patterns in history I personally had not thought about or known before, and was delighted by how good it all seemed to fit together in the cosmological history of time and the history of the world.
