Almost Everything You Wanted to Know About Tickling is an interesting book. It starts by saying that there isn't a lot of research on tickling because it is difficult to get funding for a study like this. However, as a retired researcher, the author wanted to investigate the subject. The book was approached using a researcher's pattern. The chapters started with a question about tickling and then went through quotes from the women who were interviewed. There are tables to break up the text and make the findings clearer. Overall, it was a well-thought-out and fun book to read.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I am definitely a ticklish person, but it was never something I thought about. I never considered how different cultures would see it. I really enjoyed reading what different women around the world thought about tickling and the different questions that were brought to them. I didn’t realize that there were so many diverse opinions about tickling. The whole book felt like the author was bringing us along to satisfy a curious topic.

There wasn't anything that I didn't enjoy about this book. I didn't know what to expect when I started it, but it was fun to read. I do wish the author seemed more confident in the beginning. If someone picked up this book, then that means they were curious too. I got the feeling that the author felt like the book was a silly thing to do. While it is silly, it is also something fun to learn about.

The editing was excellent. The tables were perfect, and I didn't find any errors.

Overall, I rate Almost Everything You Wanted to Know About Tickling 5 out of 5 stars because of the reasons above. If you are looking for a book that will teach you while still being light-hearted, then I recommend this book.
