Super Hairo by Nikki Cestaro is a book that discusses the details of a hairdresser’s life. This book encompasses everything from the beginnings of the author’s career as a hairdresser’s assistant to all of the various hurdles that have helped the author become the successful business owner they are today.

This book is a very raw and truthful commentary about the life of a hairstylist. I truly enjoyed reading about everything that a hairstylist does and all of the hard work and grit that goes into this profession! The addition of the author’s personal anecdotes from their many years in the profession really gave the book a personal and relatable touch, and I felt like I learned quite a bit about a profession that I knew relatively little about before. The author’s writing style is particularly unique in that they leave nothing to the imagination. Everything that the author writes comes from a very honest perspective about what it has taken for them to get to this point in their career, and this allows the reader to truly understand the author’s perspective and life. I loved the examples that the author gave for all of the small things that can occur within different parts of the field. The author’s examples of the different assistants that a hair stylist can work with, for example, gave great insight into what a hairdresser must deal with and who they must work with over the years. This truly provides a different perspective into a career that many take for granted, and I loved getting to know more about the lifestyle of a hairdresser!

Overall, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 for a great story, a relatable perspective, and great editing, as I found no grammatical errors. There was nothing that I disliked about this book. This book contains some profanity but does not contain any sexual content. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a story that will allow them to understand the lifestyle of a profession different from their own!
