It is fascinating to learn of the encounters people have with God and the impact it has on their lives. Snatched Up to Heaven tells one such story where two young girls are taken on a tour of heaven by God Himself through what seemed to them to be dreams but what could be described as visions. It also covers their visions of hell and the stark contrast between them.

This true story is written by their parents, Jemima and Arvind Paul, who took the time to analyze their visions and find meaning in them. This fact, in and of itself, is very heartwarming as it portrays a mother and father's love for their children. In Snatched Up to Heaven, Jemima Paul takes apart the girls’ visions in chapters and uses scriptures from the Bible to corroborate everything they claimed to see and experience. I particularly liked how the authors attempt to educate the reader on the Bible verses used when relating them to the children’s visions. Additionally, the fact that they include the girls' experiences with hell, even though the subject tends to be a scary one, is also a great aspect of the book. We tend to be afraid of speaking about the horrors of hell, but this is not a topic that the authors shy away from.

Overall, this unfiltered recount of heaven and hell can be described as educational and inspiring. Christians, both young and old, would enjoy reading this non-fiction tale and could quite possibly experience a change in perspective as it relates to heaven and hell. I assign this book a rating of 5 out of 5 as I found nothing negative about it. Despite it being the first book the authors have written, the goal of relaying the children’s visions and the meaning behind them, to inspire and teach others the word of God, was undoubtedly achieved. It may be life-changing for readers just as it was for the Paul family.
