HumanITy by Yarrow Diamond is a well-written, non-fiction book about the transformation Information Technology (IT) has had (and will continue to have) on people and businesses alike. Per the author, one of the keys to taking advantage of automation is the ability to adapt, learn, and evolve with technical advances taking advantage of opportunities for growth and prosperity. While the author focuses on more recent years of the technological revolution transforming the world, there are historical details and stories that enhance the reading and knowledge provided by this book.

I recommend this book to all business owners and those involved in transforming businesses through automation and information technology. Also to anyone wanting to read an interesting, fact-based book on how the IT revolution has effected and will continue to affect humanity..

The author, Yarrow Diamond, categorizes herself as a life-long learner which is well demonstrated by her education in psychology and her bachelors and master's degrees in IT and Enterprise Architecture. She excels at digital transformation in all levels of business; assisting companies with their implementation of Information Technology and the empowerment of human employees.

I rate this book a 5 out of 5. HumanITy is an excellent source of information on the pros and cons of the recent technical advances, addressing all ages and private to business interests. The author demonstrates a talent for writing that, while technically based, is readily understandable by the reader. The title of the book demonstrates the author's commitment to people and information technology in a clever way.
