The Solution is Political Revolution by Jillion R. Rising could easily be a fictional book due to the unthinkable outcomes described by the author in America’s economic and political states. However, the downfalls and crises described in this book are far too real and are the main reason for the collapse of the United States economy. In this book, the author does a marvelous job explaining how some factors and some historical occurrences lead to the breakdown of politics and economy in the United States, creating divergences between the wealthy and the medium- to poor economic levels.

Within this book I understood much more about how in America there is a degrading loss of hope, where its citizens not only are feeling frustrated and scared about the economy but are also losing confidence in their rulers, pointing out several elements or probable causes that have little or nothing to do with the transformation of America as a prosperous global force into an undignified, yet powerful, country, where the only ones who benefit from living here are the ones who, being already rich, can become richer at the cost of the USA’s citizens.

I must admit that this book opened my eyes tremendously, even if I am not American, because we all know that the USA is still a powerful country whose economics and politics interfere with the rest of the world, and seeing it lose its state of grace can be a bit scary and confusing. However, what I most enjoyed in this book was the fact that the author didn’t simply explain the problems and historical occurrences that lead to the crises now happening in the USA; in fact, the author tries to offer some solutions or possible forms of mitigation to those problems, regaining, within the reader, a new sense of hope after a harsh encounter with reality.

Some of the aspects pointed out by the author to try to mitigate these problems are scenarios that are evident to the rest of the world but are currently dividing America. Issues with race, patriotism (or lack of it), and faith in the political forces are some of the turning points that can prevent the collapse of the USA, even if at this point there is only so much that can be done.

That said, I loved this book and rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. The truth is that I didn’t find a single dislike or even an error in this book, being professionally edited, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The book is well-written, the elements are well-connected, the explanation is simple, and the author managed to catch the reader’s attention even though politics and the economy might not be everyone’s cup of tea. In my opinion, it was a great read, and I would highly recommend it not only to those who enjoy these types of topics but also to those who are curious about the current state of the USA, especially considering the fact that the USA is always on the verge of doing something that can impact the entire world.
