The emergence of AI has contributed immensely to humanity. The impacts of AI's contribution have led to the assertion that there may be no need for human insights or manpower in the near future, as AI can perform some, and perhaps arguably in the future, all of human activities. In this book, Chris Hood discusses the assertion that AI is "infailible." He highlights the effects that come from overreliance on overhyped AI, which damages customers’ trust. The author discusses the effects of brands’ use of AI on customer behavior. You'll genuinely find a lot to love about this book!

"Infailible: The Artificial Intelligence Ideology Reshaping Consumer Behavior" by Chris Hood addresses a crucial problem in today's society. I loved that the author did not try to discredit the performance of AI and its contributions to a company. Instead, he simply showed through various examples that AI is more effective when combined with human intelligence. Throughout the book, the author highlights various types of human intelligence, such as aspirational and behavioral intelligence, and compares them to existing AI relating to the intelligence. For instance, the author discusses both aspirational intelligence and predictive AI in one chapter. He then explains the limitations of AI and how it can be blended with human intelligence to achieve maximum success.

What I found most impressive was how the author had personal experiences, which he used to explain his points in each chapter. This made the book very relatable and emphasized the author's points in the book. I would not have enjoyed the book as much as I did if I could not relate to some of the author's experiences. I also loved that the author included examples from the activities of companies using AI and customer feedback. This shows proper research. The author also included references in the book.

There was nothing to dislike about the book. It was exceptionally well-edited and informative. I loved the reflection that the author included in the book. He states that beyond the machine is the future we choose to create. I rate this book five out of five stars. I found no reason to deduct any stars. This book would be best for readers interested in AI.

It sounds like a thought-provoking exploration of AI’s role in society, particularly in the business and consumer space. I like that the author presents a balanced perspective, emphasizing the importance of blending AI with human intelligence rather than dismissing AI altogether. The inclusion of real-world examples and personal experiences adds credibility and makes the content more relatable. Since I’m interested in the evolving role of AI and its societal impacts, this book seems like something I’d consider reading.
