In our economic world today, considering the intense competition among businesses, marketing and branding have gone beyond what they used to be. Now, to grow in the market, you can't afford to be silent. Your brand comprises a deep story that connects your journey to your audience. Telling Your Story, Developing Your Brand by Henry Wong is a book that provides some genuine accumulated knowledge that can take your brand to a whole new level in the competitive market.

Henry was a child of immigrant parents who was born in Canada and initially struggled to find his identity. After 30 years in business and working with big global multinational brands, the author has consistently told his brand story and helped personalities, executives, and professionals develop their brands. This book is divided into two sections. The first section discusses what personal branding is all about, while the second section explores how to build your brand, using your story, creating a mnemonic, pitching investors, taking your brand to market, and more.

This book is unique because of the practical and accessible approach the author has incorporated into his message. The author passed on most of his message from his personal experiences, real-life examples, and achievable frameworks, which made the content of this book very appealing and relatable to readers. I loved the Myers-Briggs test and all the other exercises added to this book. Personally, I think this book could even help readers develop and understand more about themselves with respect to the discussion on personality featured in this book. The hierarchical drawings and illustrations in this book helped my comparison, and it proved the author to be a talented storyteller.

I found this book to be informative, and there was nothing I disliked or found negative about it. The editing of this book was exceptional, and I found no errors in it. The author's writing style is easy to comprehend, and readers of all levels will go through this book effortlessly.

For the reasons above and because I have nothing to dislike about this book, I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars, and I recommend it to all lovers of nonfiction books and those who wish to develop their brands.
