Snatched Up to Heaven! was a heart-warming story in which the author, Jemima Paul, with Arvind Paul, recounts dreams that four-year-old Priyanka told her. She had stated each time that she and her two-year-old sister Deepika were carried to Heaven by angels. She described Heaven and the things they did there as she had experienced through these dreams. The author wrote down word for word what her daughter had told her, and then gave her interpretation of what the child was trying to say. Jemima was shocked to realize that everything her child had said to her was found in the Bible! What made this so surprising is that since her daughter was only four years old, some of the things she stated about Heaven were not things she could have easily known at that age. She also said things that were not obvious to her mother as to what she meant, but when reading between the lines, the meaning was clearly stated in scripture. The author quoted, with references, all scripture written in the Bible that demonstrates the things that her young daughter has told her concerning Heaven.
Priyanka also described hell as she had seen in some of her dreams. Scripture also backs up things that she had relayed about hell. Her mother stated there is no way she could have known these things because even she, a grown Christian woman, learned a few things from her daughter, and when looking through the Bible, she found scripture to back her up. Priyanka had revealed things about hell that were the exact opposite of heaven. For instance, she said there were rules in Heaven that are found in the Bible, but in Hell, there was also a Bible, and the rules there were in total opposition to God’s Word.
I enjoyed reading this book. I, too, learned some things from the child. It was inspiring, and I was excited about going to Heaven one day. The way the child presented the things she had seen in her dreams sometimes made me chuckle. This book is well-edited. This book is best suited for Christians looking forward to going to Heaven. I did not come across any typos or errors at all. For this reason, I have rated this book 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend it. There is nothing that I would change about this book. The authors did a great job. It will bring warmth to your heart and a smile to your face.
