Revealing the Book of Revelation by Peter Bellone presents God's final warning to those who will not listen or obey. The central message of this book is: Obey God and live forever; disobey God and disappear forever in the Lake of Fire. The book covers several topics which include the Bride of Christ; the seven churches in Asia Minor, which represent different spiritual states or challenges faced by the early church; the four living creatures, which are Reuben, Ephraim, Dan, and Judah, representing all the twelve tribes of Israel; and the story of the great harlot, whom the Bible calls mystery Babylon, just to mention a few.

One thing that really stood out to me in this book is that the author not only included verses of the Bible but also took his time to explain each verse before moving into the next. It allowed for a better understanding of the subject matter and also minimised any confusion that you might encounter. I have not had the time to go through my Bible, most especially the book of Revelation, since it is the last book in the Bible, but I can say confidently that I have gained sufficient knowledge of what the book of Revelation is about by merely reading this book. This is proof that the author did justice to the description of his book. It did not just offer vast knowledge on the teachings of the scriptures, but also served as an eye-opener for me. Out of the many topics that were discussed, one that I enjoyed reading about is the false ideas and doctrines that religion is guilty of. Out of the 12 that were mentioned, I think I agree the most with “Sunday is a day of worship, replacing the Sabbath”. Just like the author stated, there is no place in the scripture that authorizes the Sabbath day to be changed from Saturday to Sunday. In keeping Sunday, Christians are merely following a law of the Catholic Church.

There was nothing I found that is worthy of dislike. This book exceeded my expectations, and I think it’s deserving of 5 out of 5 stars. I also found no grammatical errors in this book, which made my reading seamless and, in my opinion, added to the overall beauty of the book.

I highly recommend this book to Christians who are seeking to gain more knowledge about the Bible and illuminate the factual claims made by nominal religionists.

I am currently doing a study on the book of Revelation. The only thing I have found out from a very knowledgeable pastor friend of mine is that you have to understand Daniel before you’ll understand revelation so guess who’s doing I study of Daniel along with Revelation? It is making my understanding of the book of Revelation so much greater. By understanding it more, the book of Revelation can be viewed as a book of Hope instead of terror like many people think or assume. Just as you mentioned in your review, obey God and live forever. It’s a simple as admitting that you’re a sinner in the need of a Savior, sincerely repent and ask forgiveness for your sins and ask Jesus to come live in your heart. Does that mean that we’re not ever gonna mess up again? No, it doesn’t. God created us. God knows our every weakness and as long as we asked for forgiveness for the sins that we commit after we are saved, He will forgive us of those as well. Salvation is not a license to sin but we are human and we live in a sinful world. Salvation is open to “whosoever” and no one is ever too far from God not to be saved! And the best part about it, when God forgives us of our sins, He forgets them and removes them away “as far as the east is from the west”. Psalm 103:12
I will definitely be getting this book!
