Broken Violin by Rena Solaris is an emotional and heartbreaking book about a female falling in love with a famous Korean man named King Kang; however, when she texts him on social media, it's actually an impersonator and a fake. She writes him a letter, and in this letter she continues to explain how she used to share her secrets and life details with this person. They spoke for a few months, sharing details and secrets, and he started asking her for different amounts of money. In return, she expected him to pay her back; however, that never happened.

I loved reading this book, to be honest. Now with social media and different types of scams that are going around, everyone should be notified and aware of what is happening. The author always said to herself that she would never be scammed, yet it ended up happening to her. With new technology, even our personal details on our phones are not safe, such as even our banking apps. The author mentioned how she felt, how she lost so much money, and how she was blackmailed by this scammer.

There was nothing to dislike in this book. This book is short and can be read in one sitting. This book is in simple English and easy to read. The author does have a different type of writing style; however, this does not disrupt the reading.

I found no errors in this book. The setting and details are very commendable. I did get confused at a few scenes in this book but later on figured it out. I rate this book five out of five stars for the reasons given above.

I recommend this book to readers of all ages. We live in a world where even younger children have smartphones and are accessing the internet while using social media. Everyone needs to be aware of the scams going around and how to be able to protect themselves from them.

Technology for sure has brought so much into our lives, including the fact that someone can now be scammed by another thousands of miles away, not necessarily using force but tricks. It is also surprising that this would happen even to the most vigilant. Thank you for the informative review, @Nazmeera Khan 1.

The book is good, however, I believe the author was trying to build trust in some way, but to be dishonest is another thing, the author seem dedicated and heartfelt
In this story, social media can't be trusted....
