Title: Awakening Intuition: How I Became An Intuitive Healer
Author: Samantha McManus

I found this book very intriguing and read it avidly. I concur with Samantha McManus that there do seem to be unexplainable fleeting thoughts and feelings that seem to be separate from our 'here and now' presence. Through years of mindfulness and practice, Samantha has honed amazing intuitions that add satisfaction and knowledge to her life. There is nothing overly paranormal or religious being extolled here. It is all probably more within the realms of normality than we think. Perhaps, in ancient times (and there is possible proof), these intuitions were widely practised and were simply a part of life.

As she describes the three intuitions that she has developed (which have required years of practice and concentration), I feel inquisitive and drawn to trying them myself, and I hope to practice for half an hour a day, and having already tried, I must say that it does require body and soul!

The three intuitions are:
Clairaudience is the ability of the mind to hear silent messages or inner whispers.
Clairvoyance is the ability of the mind to see snatches of pictures or images.
Clairsentience is the ability to sense moods and emotions.

I have simplified these immensely.

She keeps the book fairly straightforward, with no difficult or unknown vocabulary to confuse the reader. We get advice to help us with the use of things like spiritual guides, mandalas, meditation, and remote viewing. Of course, there will be setbacks: Samantha has experienced them, and I enjoyed the section where she talks about this.

It's all about being true, authentic, inviting good karma, open, calm, and so on. I think the book can help us in many ways. It has been written and edited well, as I did not see any grammatical errors. I enjoyed the personable and conversational tone. It is a short book, which helps retain focus.

I would have loved some illustrations.

As I said, I enjoyed the book and am going to read it a second time, and so will award it five stars out of five.

I am glad that the author keeps the concepts in the book simple and straightforward. There is so much that remains unknown and unexplored about human experiences and abilities, but I am not so sure about the ones the author addresses. Many thanks for the review, @Rebecca De Figueiredo.

It's clear that the concept of "unexplainable fleeting thoughts and feelings" resonated deeply with you, suggesting that these intuitions are more within the realm of normality than often perceived. Your breakdown of clairaudience, clairvoyance, and clairsentience is excellent, making these concepts accessible and prompting your own desire to practice them—highlighting the book's practical inspiration. Though it sounds interesting, this is not my kind of book. Thanks for the review.
