Roadmap to the End of Days by Daniel Freeman. Actually, this book is a blueprint for the end of days. The book is filled with interesting and easy to understand facts from the beginning to the end. The language and the tone used by the author is very fascinating. As you beginning reading this book it is a little bit confusing, but going deeper into the story clears the confusions and brings you into a state of stability. The book demonstrates, a clear biblical timeline comprising thousands of years of human history, a chronology of actual history until today and numerous sources describing events related to the end of days. The book gives insight into numerous sources describing historical events where we have been close to the end of days but failed to get there. I enjoyed reading every bit of this book as it sourced it evidences from the bible itself, the book quoted a lot of verses. Which are used to develop the story, the book is dominantly based upon the Old Testament.

The story gets more interesting as the Biblical chronology is described. It consists of three stages or eras; the 6 days of creation, followed by 6000 years of human history and lastly the 1000 years of the seventh millennium. Adam was created on the sixth day, and toward the end of the same day, he sinned. Therefore changing the world order. I was amused by how the author illustrates that the actual six days of creation are not as we perceive rather it comprises of a long time only compressed to fit the seven days of the week. Also, the book reveals that it was through Adams’s sins that gave rise to what is referred to as this world. This world proceeds through 6000 years of history and culminated with the end of days. The stage we are currently is termed as the preparatory period.

According to the author, the man aim of our existence is to bring both ourselves and the world back to its original state of spiritual sensitivity. He suggests that in order to restore the cosmic purpose which was there before Adam sinned. We must observe the seven Noahide laws and the 613 commandments given to Torah with belief in the Creator. If we adhere to these laws we will eventually create for Devine presence in the world. It was a sad revelation to me that, as of 2018 we have spent 5777 years without any positive advancement. However, as it was prophesized Messiah will be born and be a king during the end of days. He will help us return to the original state of clarity originally provided in the Garden of Eden.

The book gives us the view of how the world to come will be. It states that although the opinions vary between and within religions, they always share similar themes. And together comes to an agreement that in the world to come, after the resurrection, every soul will finally reach its full potential. And that after the reversal of Adam’s transgressions, every man’s soul will finally accomplish the purpose for which it was created. Unlike today both body and the soul will continue to grow towards the ultimate spirituality forever, enjoying the delight of Closeness of God. I really liked the book, I am recommending it to every reader out there with or without enough theological experience. And I am certain that by the time you finish reading it you will understand the reason for our existence, the ancient prophesies about the end of days, where we are currently and how will the coming world be like according to the biblical timelines. I really enjoyed reading this book and it is my wish that whoever will pick it next will enjoy it too.

Reading the book will give you a defined purpose, as to why you should prepare in advance. So that when we finish the 6000 years of the human history and usher in the new world, you shall be among those who will stay close to God forever. I was moved by the statement that, the new world to come, will be of deathless existence overflowing with natural bounty and endless resources, imbued with peace and continual spiritual elevation. The statement is in line with the prophecy in the bible hence making it valid. No doubt I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, the author compiled the facts in a very attractive way.

Wow, the review is full of descriptive comments on the book. I could never have guessed that this book was on this broad theme of religion and especially an analysis beginning from the creation of the world in six days. Nice work and I hope to read to soon too.

Thank you for the review! This book just isn't for me because I have yet to read the Bible fully. Also, thinking about the end of the world would make me worry too much.
