Regardless of one’s religion, you cannot help but ponder over questions about the end of the world. When will the world end? Where will it take place? What is going to happen? Or, you might even take your thinking a step further. Are there any correlations between past events and present time?

In Daniel Friedmann’s 198 standard page book, Roadmap to the End of Days, he thoughtfully and thoroughly tackles those very questions. He draws multiple comparisons from the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths. However, this book is written from the Jewish perspective. Tables and charts are provided throughout the book to further support his findings. It also has a table of contents, glossary, endnotes and appendix for even further reference.

I like the gentle approach Daniel Friedmann took in laying out all the insightful information provided throughout the book. I also like that he continuously let the facts speak for themselves. He does not persuade the reader to think or feel a certain way. The intriguing and in-depth information is presented with unquestionable sources to back it up.

On a personal note, as a Catholic, I did not like that this book unequivocally touched on things that I knew nothing about. For instance, I do not recall ever being taught that each day of creation lasted for more than a twenty-four-hour period. There are several other eye-opening examples but this one stuck out the most for me. I also did not find the reading format to be user friendly in the beginning. The numerous links were a little confusing and overwhelming, at first. However, I was able to figure it out and quickly realized their importance and usefulness.

I am in such awe with this amazing book that I proudly give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. There is absolutely no reason to give it a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. It is well-written and exceptionally detailed by a person of authority in this topic. This book is truly a fascinating read and page-turner.

Roadmap to the End of Days is a great thought-provoking biblical non-fiction. It should be read by anyone with a religious upbringing. All clergy and religious scholars should be required to read it. I truly believe, everyone will find this book beneficial regardless of their denomination. Unfortunately, I do not think this book’s overall inspirational message of Divine Purpose will be appreciated by those without an open mind.

I have thought about the end of the world, when it will take place, and how it'll be. I'm interested in reading this book. I'm a Catholic too and I've heard about each day of creation lasting more than a twenty-four-hour period, but not from teachings in the church. Nice review.
