A Thousand Seeds of Joy by Ananda Karunesh is an uplifting book about spirituality. The author claims to be in conversation with goddesses. I was skeptical at first but his inspired writings have me convinced that he has indeed been in communication with a higher life form. He wishes to pass on the knowledge he acquired from them on this book.

The book is written in a question and answer format whereby the author poses a question and a goddess answers. The questions are of a philosophical nature, some of which each of us must ask ourselves at some point in our lives. I found the answers quite satisfactory; they resonated with some of my thoughts on the various subjects addressed. This book will inspire you to add more meaningful experiences to your life; it certainly had that effect on me.

The language used had a calming effect on me. I can see myself rereading this book periodically as an affirmation. The content is very uplifting and inspiring. I came away less anxious after reading it. It centered my thoughts and reminded me what's important in life. It would make for a perfect bedtime read; it is just the thing to pick up when you want to end your day in calm contemplation.

This book will appeal to anyone who likes reading spiritual text. It acquainted me to the goddesses and acted as a point of reference for further research on the subject of spirituality. I could see a person with secular leanings also enjoying this book; it does not aggressively push any religious agenda. Rather, it seeks to answer some of life’s questions in a manner that employs logic. I came away a richer person after reading this book.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is well thought out and well written. I also found no grammatical errors. The author could be a poet; he employs various stylistic devices that make the text very enjoyable to read. I am not sure just how to categorize this book. I haven't read any other like it. I am averse to reading self help books but I consider this a self help book that is especially appropriate for these troubled times we are living in. I'll be sure to look out for other books by this author. I still have a few questions I would like the goddesses to answer.
