By this being book one of the Ascended Goddesses book series by Ananda Karunesh it not only focuses on spirituality. It also provides readers with the history of ancient goddesses and teachings, corrects misrepresenting scriptures showing matriarchy over patriarchy, and also reveal new secrets which relate to gods and goddesses who have walked the face of this earth. This book provides information based upon a question and answers theme. It consists of 33 chapters broken down into seven sections where the author asks the questions, and the Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati directly answeres them. Though, it may seem a little far-fetched the goddesses promises a massive transformation in the lives of us humans. They present the change as the birth of a joy centered consciousness.

A Thousand Seeds of Joy: Teachings of Lakshmi and Saraswati (Ascended Goddesses series Book 1) by Ananda Karunesh relates a lot to our daily lives. Such as:
How we see the world around us
How we get so attached to processions as well as other people and
How we go about living our lives on a day-to-day basis.
Also providing answers to questions such as:
What is wrong with wanting/seeking approval from our peers? Page 74
How do we transform our minds to experience our higher selves? Page 223
When is the time to have doubt or have faith? Page 39
Have you thought about or wondered about any of the previously listed questions? What if there were divine people including one's self that could put an end to your pain and sufferings right at this very place and time? Though every human being will come to endure pain throughout their life, it is not the pain(s) it is the joy that transforms us along with aiding us to reach our higher selves. With the extraordinary conversations between Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati and the author they intend to plant seeds of joy into the conscious of each person so that this transformation can take root within each who is ready to open up and give in to a higher existence.

Hinduism is the religion that is most focused and or targeted within this book. But, readers should be aware that even though the contexts consist of many ways to explain spirituality and mediation so that beginners can get a better understanding. One will definitely need to have an open mind along with knowledge of culture and religious elements. You will find endnotes at the end of the book, but it is minimal and only covers a few of these things that one will come across while reading this book. Therefore, it will take some expertise in the religious area to completely understand some of the topics or subjects within the text. With myself being a person who does not know very much about religion or mediation, I found some things difficult to understand so I would label this as what I am not too fond of the book.

What I do like about it is that the answers were put to be coming directly from the goddesses themselves I thought that was unique. I like the style and grace of the writing. Along with the insight that it tells about women of the spiritual world such as Eve and Mary Magdalena because before now it seems that everything that I do know or have heard made woman religious figures all sound like they were all just sinners. I don't seem to recall hearing much if any good things about them up until now. I also like that it focuses on joy which is a great way to live life in my opinion.

All in all, I give A Thousand Seeds of Joy: Teachings of Lakshmi and Saraswati (Ascended Goddesses Series Book 1) a 4 out of 4-star rating. I did not come across any typos or grammar errors that I came across. Even though some of it was a little difficult to completely understand for an individual as I who is not very familiar with a whole lot of religions or mediation, I was still able to grab the concept and enjoyed what I did learn from reading this book. It is one that I recommend as a must read.

I feel that the audiences this book more leans towards is individuals who are currently into spirituality as well as those who are just beginning or feeling as if they want to become more spiritual beings. Although I believe that women readers would enjoy it as well, I think that it is a good read for anyone one searching or reaching for their higher existences.
