For this month, we will read horror/Ghosts stories.
Ghost story, "a tale about ghosts. More generally, the phrase may refer to a tale based on imagination rather than fact. Ghost stories exist in all kinds of literature, from folktales to religious works to modern horror stories, and in most cultures."
Horror: This is a genre of speculative fiction that is intended to frighten, scare, or disgust.

I love this time of year! I'll be reading The Witch Cave by Sara Clancy. It's the third book in the Bell Witch horror series.

I just realized I'm already reading a horror book. I'm in the middle of Rolling in the Deep by Mira Grant (aka Seanan McGuire).
This is the novella that takes place before her novel Into the Drowning Deep.

I finished Inheriting Her Ghosts by S.H. Cooper earlier this month, and am now reading The Festering Ones from the same author. Inheriting Her Ghosts made me feel like I was part of the story. Great Halloween reads!
