This is a well-written fast-paced book. It has everything you may desire in a psychological novel. John's frustration with his amnesia and his struggles to keep it hidden was painful. I like that the book is well-rounded as it touches on many important areas of life such as friendship, love, success, terrorism, and freedom. It deserves its 4 out of 4 stars rating because it's an excellent book.

This is an excellent psychological thriller. The plot twists blew my mind, plus it ended with a cliff hanger!! Martin creates a masterpiece on this one. I love how he describes John's mental states. Even though the pace was erratic, I absolutely recommend it. This book will really entertain you.

Psychiatry is quite a vast contest but the author simplified it. I must say it is well written and it deserves the full rate. Its a 4 out of 4 stars for me.

Personally, I will tick as great any piece of writing that I find difficult to predict what happens in the next page. That's what Martin Kendall had done with 'the freedom building' ...a thrilling suspense. You would not want to drop it until you finish.

In the spirit of fairness, this book should be tagged 4 over 4.
I propose it to lovers of character - soaked fictions, who also enjoy multiple topics packed into one piece.

However, I have a little reservation about the Islam-Isreal-bombing twist ( not because it's not the obvious) but because of the sensitivity of religion and ethnicity.

This is a very lovely book. The Freedom Building by Martin Kendall, It's a thought-provoking, cleverly written book.
It is dynamic and exciting for a psychological thriller book, which I like very much to be written that well.
I will recommend it to other people and give it 4 out of 4 stars, because his written skill is so clever and commendable.

A book with such a fascinating story deserves a 4 star rating. I haven't read a psychological thriller as good as this one from a long time. John's character and his struggles are written really nicely in the book. Please give it a go if you like psychological thriller novels.

The author ha written the text cleverly by creating suspence all along. The book however touches on some real life aspects like success, relationships, terrorism among others. I would recommend any interested reader who feels like they would like to add something helpful to their lives and also entertain themselves that this is the book.

It was a great psychological thriller with some amazing twists and turns, and the ending was much appreciated. At some parts it felt a bit slow, but doesn't most of the books feel like that? Will definitely try to read some more from the author.

I would rate this psychological thriller a four out of four stars. This because I like the premise of this story so much. I mean, look at John's situation, how many people would you have to fool to pull off what he did. I also think John filled and fitted into his role exceptionally, and it could not be tweaked any other way to build his role more. I also liked that this book spreads awarenesses on the condition of amnesia. I guess there are many people who knew only a general description of this condition but after going through this book, they came out knowing all there is to know about it. I also think that this book was written exceptionally well.

The writing style is quite good and poetic even at times. However, the main problem I have is the plot structure. I feel as though there is not enough build-up for the climax. That is what I disliked most out of all the features of the novel. What I liked most is the last two chapters of the story because they seemed to transform from psychological fiction to revenge fiction. I also liked the ending of the novel because it effectively intrigued me. I'm kind of wondering if there is a sequel to this book or if the author plans to write and publish one in the future.

I love psychological thrillers, anyday! And this author's intriguing writing style makes the title an easy one to choose. I especially liked the way he described the surroundings and the characters, making them easy to imagine. This is a 4-star book for me since I can't find any substantial issue to rate it otherwise.

Given its psychological plot, John made the book maintain its pace with his doings. Though most psychological thrillers are complex, and some dull, I found this one a compelling read. I give it 4 out of 4 stars.

PeterRabitt20 wrote: 01 Nov 2021, 15:57 I'm still finishing the book. However, I like the ease in the writing style—the scenes move along quickly enough not to get bored and keep me motivated. Sentences are short and most conversations are too. I also like how I'm able to understand what's going on—it isn't one of those books that trail off, so far that I have to read back to understand where I'm at.

I found it a bit insensitive whenever the character commented that "it was for the best" because the building was ugly. But, I understand that it was done to assert the character's personality.

So far so good, I'd recommend it because the stages move fast enough, and I'm constantly perplexed.
I agree with you about the writing style. I did not find any complicated material that would make its readability diminish.

A lot of the psychological aspects of this book are thought provoking. I have not written my review yet but I will be giving it 4 out of 4 stars. The book is well written, the plot flows smoothly, and there are only a couple of errors in the book.
I, too, have not written a review yet, although I have read the book. Intriguing, I must say. I concur with how well written the book is, and its smooth flow.
