I think John is the real designer. The author revealed at the ending that John and only John was the only designer

The ending suggests that indeed John is the true designer of the building. He was the mastermind of the buildings structure. Everything Pete did was based on what John started.

I don't want to know who was the designer, I just want to confess that how John was seeking the opportunity for the new building's architecture when he heard news about the explosion and death of many people. Being opportunistic is a good quality but being an opportunist in such situations shows how humanity has downgraded.

I think the true designer of the Zenith building is John because the ending of the book indicates that it should be John. But we have to accept the fact that Peter also helps in the construction of the book.

I would say John is the real designer of the building. There is some doubt as the story goes on, but at the end the author makes it kind of clear that who the designer really is.

I think John's ex-wife's comments towards the end proves that John was the true designer of the new Zenith building. It couldn't have been Peter regardless of how well he knew the designs of the building.

I could bet it was John. Everything just points to the fact that he was the one. Although seeing Martin's writing style, I know there could be a plot twist, however, I still believe it's most likely John.

It is not that clear to me yet, but I believe that John may have been the true designer with Pete having some assistive role.

Ok, it can be debatable but according to the book John is the designer. However, thinking about everything that happened with John, it is impractical and hard to believe that John was the mastermind. It clearly points towards Peter being the designer. But who knows.

I think John is responsible for the design of the building. You can really see the evidence when his wife says it is similar to his college drawings.

I think John is the true designer of the building. Peter did put in a lot of work during the construction of the building, hence the intimate insight into the design, but I do not think he designed it.
