For me, I am with the people in that the Zenith building symbolizes freedom of expression without fear of retribution. Another concept the building may represent is hope after tragedy struck.

I think because it reminds him of failure. Like a trauma and fear of losing. For everything was demolished the first time 🤔

To John, Zenith Building was not just a building but a dream come through. He sees Zenith Building as a goal achieved.

To me, it stands for nothing special. It's just a structure that John was interested in and which was mysteriously blown up.

I honestly believe that this aspect of the book was overplayed and should have had the significant role it did. However, I will agree that it does represent his visions blended with John's potential.

I think, from the ending of the book and his revelations, the building represents not only Johns' ambitions but also it represents the feeling of not being in a constant rat race. He felt trapped in the cycle of everyday life, and I think he couldn't see the plans or the building because it represented that block of breaking through the monotony.

The building represents John's professional career. The decimation of the building by terrorists heralded the end of John's status as an insignificant architect. The reconstruction of the building signifies the establishment of John as a notable architect in his community.

I think John had every reason to give up, but he didn't. Through all his struggles, John found his passion in the building industry - which led him on this journey as we know it today!

I have a really hard time believing that a building stands for anything I think that maybe it just represents John’s potential Maybe he can’t see his potential anymore? I don’t know.

The deconstruction of the building could be John’s former life breaking down from a small time architect and the new building is him growing and become a bigger known architect which is his dream. The fact he can’t see the plans or the building could be that even though he is a famous architect he doesn’t have the confidence in himself he needs. He doesn’t think he can succeed.

I think the Zenith building has some symbolic stronger and deeper meaning to John, apart from trying to prove himself as a good architect. The dream/(building) could stand tall one day with its great potentials/(people/asset), the dream could collapse the following day with many buried potentials but the dream could be rebuilt with determination and zeal.

I think the building stands for John's ambition. The building's destruction is the equivalent of John overcoming his failures as a father, husband, architect.

The Zenith building truly represents freedom. Freedom from the constraints of society. A connection to one's younger self, full of hopes and dreams. Even in the end, John could not fully connect to the freedom of his youth and the amnesiac period. Society has stifled his creativity completely. Perhaps, after burning it down, he will be able to reconnect.

I feel the Zenith is a representation of John's ambitions and the heights he wanted to attain in his career. I feel it also represents or arouses some feelings of guilt in him.

I think the building represents John's unachieved dreams. It should the creativity potential of him, that waits to be unlocked from his subconsciousness, but also presents him with condition that he is the only one who can unlock that dream and that's why he is unable to look at the building.
