I don't think that john's amnesia is fake. It isbecause his mental health was already poor that is why the accident was able to cause his amnesia.

I think John's amnesia was real, may not have been caused by the accident buy it seemed real. They're a lot of things that could affect the brain as it's made up of billions of nerves. John was going through a lot.

Research has shown that causes of amnesia include head and brain injuries, certain drugs, alcohol, and traumatic events. Judging from what John went through, I don't think John's amnesia is fake.

Life situations can definitely make abnormal things happen. I believe his amnesia was real, but then, it was caused by the level of trial he was facing. Definitely not the accident!

Amnesia can be caused by a variety of factors, including head and brain traumas, certain medicines, alcohol, and stressful situations, according to research. I don't believe John's amnesia is false, based on what he went through.

I think John's metal illness was genuine because, medically, amnesia is caused by head and brain injuries, certain drugs, alcohol, traumatic events, or conditions such as Alzheimer's disease. Judging from what John went through, I am convinced he has amnesia.

I think John’s amnesia is genuine and I don’t think there’s any reason to hide anything. However, it is possible that this amnesia is the beginning of an undiagnosed disease.

I personally have doubts about John's amnesia since the beginning. This is because I was under the impression that there could a big revelation about his amnesia being fake in the climax. Nonetheless, if the amnesia is real, it might be related to a mental illness.

Viewing John's character, I don't think his amnesia was faked. It could also be a coincidence with his accident but it was definitely not faked because faking amnesia won't be that easy

I don’t think it was fake, and even if it wasn’t from the accident, I think the accident may have triggered it.

There's no reason for me to believe John's forgetfulness was a hoax. I assume the accident created a chain of mental disorders related to his own troubles of failing as a husband, architect, and even father, resulting in forgetfulness, based on his character's growth.

There's nothing in the novel to suggest that his amnesia was fake and not genuine and I never got that impression while reading. Also, keeping up a seamless presentation of amnesia would have been very difficult.

I think John's amnesia was real. It has to be, I don't think it's that easy to portray oneself as an amnesiac without slipping up at least a few times somewhere.

I think his amnesia was real and then it got to a point where it started being fake though I wouldn't blame him, anyone would have faked it if they had the kind of past he had.
