I agree that the book cover is not very imaginative. I also agree that it looks like an action and I think it is because of the title in italics and the silhouettes and strong contrasts

I have been seeing a lot of book covers that are 2D drawings of the characters. I'm not sure how to describe it but I see on many romance books such as Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall and The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. I do think that this type of cover is very eye-catching compared to using real people.

In my own opinion I think book cover designs are what entices the reader of any book. Even of the cover is not that imaginative, it sure must tell the reader a little of what the book contains.

The book cover design is work of pure art and imagination. The author had an aim for designing it this way. The design painted the image of a building in my head.

I agree. I think the set-up of how the protagonist looks on the cover is my favourite thing about the book cover. Just from the look alone, it alludes to tension and troubles.

My eyes were captured by the colors and the idea of the cover. It helps you visualize the protagonist and made it easier to follow his story. I felt that the cover was bold and perfect for the kind of book it was.

I like the book's cover design. It may be simple or basic to some, but I think it says a lot. Both the cover image and title represent the protagonist and the building mentioned in the story. I think both the cover image and title are befitting of this book and its content.

The silhouette on the book cover allows the readers' imagination to transpose different faces to the protagonist. It kind of allows every reader to form an image based on their perception of the protagonist in the story.

I agree that the ambiguity of the cover allows for more intrigue to draw readers in.

My best part about the book cover was the colour choice. I like that the colours had innate meaning and significance. The black silhouette....black signifying the mindspace (of the protagonist in this case)

What made me pick this book was the cover design, I found the cover of this book to be very attractive and unique. I wanted to know what the book entails.

I believe that the the general use of silhouettes is in itself an invitation to let the reader use his/her imagination. The silhouette along with the colors used: red and black, give hints to the reader and I think that this book cover was just perfect.

I totally agree. A silhouette enables greater imagination. It makes the book both alluring and mysterious. It is something that can definitely encourage a reader to pick up and read.

A design creates an idea or suggestion in the mind of anyone that views it. The design has a building and the silhouette of a human, it gives the impression that the book would involve a building.

I think the book convert is perfect, different colours showed different emotions in the book. If a picture is not given in the book then the interpretation is left up to the reader which may be difficult for him/her to understand
