John's life is a roller coaster. Did the author ever make you feel that you desperately wanted to have that experience that John underwent when he jumped into the future?

Absolutely, I think that Kendall did an amazing job of making John's amnesia experience one of mixed feelings. There are negatives and positives, and both were equally displayed in the book. However, I think point is to ultimately recognize that we shouldn't crave that experience.

In as much as John's amnesia had its advantages, and he still got some credit for the building, amnesia is not something I would wish for. It's better to face life heads on than to find some means of escape.

Maybe Johns amnesia is good for him. Personally if I could forget everything and start over I would but at the same time their are thing that I would want to remember.

As much as john's amnesia has it advantage, I would not like to forget anything. There are things I learnt that might not be possible if I forget everything. It is also a cowardly way to escape problems.

While I would like to experience life with a clean slate, it's hard to let go off all my memories. I would like to experience John's amnesia for about a month and then have things go back to normal.

I don't crave to have amnesia, no matter how things might turn out right at the end. There are some experiences I don't think I would like to forget. Amnesia can make you love a close person lesser because you have lost part of the connections you had with them in the past.

Though, John's amnesia proved to be advantageous to him still I do not crave amnesia. I don't want to forget everything and start over.

Not being able to remember anything about my past is not by any means a pleasant experience for me and will only serve to fill me with anxiety. Don't crave it at all.

I would never want to experience John's amnesia. Living without memories amd starting over just seems like a lot of work. Maybe temporarily, for like a week or two could be an interesting experience. But that's about it, no more than that.

John's amnesia experience encourages me to undertake a kind of positive and pleasant adventure on my own level in my life! It would have to do with my quest for self-discovery and understanding of the game of life!

As a result of the amnesia, it seemed that John's life became different in an exciting way without the burden of the past. Although there are parts of life that I would like to have erased from my brain, I do not wish to have amnesia.

Definitely not me! No matter how good the positive part of John suffering from amnesia is, I do not wish it for myself or anyone around me.

The author did seem to have a sub textual desire to forget parts of his life. I’m sure there are plenty of people who would love to forget certain years of their lives. You think about all the trauma some people endure and would rather never remember. On the other hand, you have to take the good with the bad. If you don’t remember any of the bad, you wouldn’t be able to relish what’s good.
