I really don’t think that any rational person can get a real understanding of demons and what they represent. Even though demons and what they do are very real I think that understanding them is beyond me so, no, the excerpts didn’t really help in that way although I think that they added to the story.
Definitely agree that understanding demons I beyond me. I feel that many things are not in our grasp to understand as of yet due to the fact that we aren't ready to grasp the fullness of our world in all its aspects. Revelations in the Bible is one book that has so much going on in it. I think this book gives a little insight into demons, however, that's not its focus. It is a warning to those who read it of what is to become of this world, using literal as well as figurative language that not many will understand. However, the more I've read it and prayed for God's enlightenment of His word, the more my eyes are opened to His word and what He is conveying to us.

I think an understanding of the Bible can impact your interpretation but isn’t necessarily completely needed for a reading of the text.Bertha Jackson wrote: ↑04 Dec 2021, 23:43 The revelations from the Bible helped me understand the demons better. Did they have an impact on your understanding of them?
