Life can never be a story without the contrast of evil and good..Therefore this contrast also engaged Cecilia the daughter of Lucifer also they had in possession her items removed from her pockets unknowingly. This scene was necessary.

Contrary to the belief of a few people here. I thought it was a necessary plot point. The execution could have been better, but it introduced a new set of characters for the writer to explore, and it added more depth to the conflict. I also like how the writer handled the fight scene.

However, I can't say for sure, but I thoroughly loved it. The apparition of a human in this scenario may annoy you, but there is a hidden message in it. Perhaps, it’s conceivable the author may have done a better job, but this scene is clearly described and gives me a vibe.

The author must have felt the need to add a new aspect to the story.

I think the scene was rather unexpected because the author did not build up to it or set it up. However, the jarring nature of the scene might be intentional and meant to set up continuity into the next book. I liked the drama the scene added to the book.

I think the fight scene is meant to make way for possible sequel. But I agree with you. It's unnecessary and a little bit illogical (or unrealistic). Nevertheless, it's up to the author's creativity, anything can happen in a fantasy novel. I still appreciate it, though :)

I found the scene to be a bit too much and unbelievable. But I understand that the author might have added the shock factor to make the story more interesting and for readers to want more. However, it's important to remember that this is fiction. I think the author used their creative license to the max.

I don't feel it was unnecessary. I loved the decision. It was something totally unexpected and couldn't have been predicted. It was just like a spicy twist that left the readers wondering.

I believe they were included as a set up for a future sequel, since we learn that the angel handed Cecilia the relic and the next book may reveal why, but I believe there may have been a better way to approach this. Their look was haphazard and out of place.

I do not share the opinion that it was cringe-worthy. If anything, it added to the intensity and complexity of the events. It could also set-up future sequels.

The scene did seem out of place and a little over the board. But since it’s a fictions story, anything is allowed as long as it’s in line with the story. But the author could have more better that particular scene.

It didn't make me squirm in the least. It was vital, in my opinion, to keep the tale moving and, given that this is a fictional novel, to maintain suspense. I also thought the author was clever in how he handled the plot's conclusion. It was unavoidable to add a dash of drama.

I wouldn't say it's unnecessary, but it could've done better IMO. Did I find it cringe-worthy? Yes. But this is fiction, and it's supposed to add some drama, I'm guessing.

I felt that it was totally unnecessary too. Involve humans fighting makes me think that may be this is needed for the next books and that is why the author put them on paper.

I think the author knows what he's doing and if course has something in mind.
Although, not everyone might appreciate that scene, but it was meant to pass a message.
