Vagabond's cover was simply artistic without being bland.
I like that it was well done without it being overdone. There was no gilding of the lily in this instance.

It's a nice cover. It seems to represent Cecelia. I don't know about others but I definitely do judge a book by the cover at times! :)

I am first attracted to a book by seeing its cover. It gives me an insight into the content of the book and the characters. The cover artwork of Vagabond fits its plot.

As far as covers go, I think the cover of this book bears a resemblance to the theme of the book concerned with time. I don't think it's possible for a book cover to uncover all the secrets of a book.

A well illustrated book cover in terms of color and the pictures or drawings must always be eye catching to attract the curious reader. hence, the writer portrayings the use of the past setting that is illuminated by the bright sun-rays color. the hanging watch reveals time that we expect characters will be having life changing moments and will be new beings.

Personally, the cover of a book is what attracts my attention to a book. The cover artwork of Vagabond might not be what most people expected the story in the book to be, but, when you check it, you would see it's actually symbolic.

Usually when picking out books the thing that catches my eye first is the cover. The cover of this book is very eye appealing. And I love that it matches certain elements of the book like Cecilia who is 201 years old.

I wasn’t thrilled with the cover. I might have skipped over it or mistook it for something else. It is generic, a watch to represent time. Time wasn’t even a major story point. There were other elements they could have used. An hourglass or swords. Something to symbolically represent god and evil. It might be mean, but it felt like they wanted to save money on the cover.

I've often chosen books based on their covers. That's probably the first thing I look for in a book. So, while the cover of this book was basic, I would argue that it spoke a lot of things aloud, perhaps in a twisted manner. :))

It's not appealing to me either, but I have respect for the author for expressing what she did. It's her work, and she alone has the power to decide what goes into it. Even if the meaning may be obscure to some, it is nonetheless significant and symbolic.

I feel a book cover is meant to give a subtle idea of what to expect from the book without revealing too much of the content. In order words, it grabs your attention but still leaves you curious enough to want to read it. And in this case, I think vagabond nailed it.

I feel like if anything, the centerpiece was chosen for its appeal more than any relevance to the book. In general I find that when you have a great, even awesome book, the cover will just not be able to match up. Therefore I agree that in the case of books, you really can't judge by its cover, or even by its blurb usually.

The book cover is simple and illustrative. It is not confusing since it does not have too much going on.

I think the book's cover is appropriate because it doesn't give too much away. I do not like covers that tell me about the story. I'd rather read the book. A cover with good a good design is good enough for me.

I don't see strong linkage between the book cover and the story line.. nonetheless the cover art itself is great. It gives the mysterious aura needed to catch the reader's attention
