Was anyone else completely in love with the father/daughter relationship between Lily and William?

Williams was definitely a rare gem in his time as it is still shocking and really beautiful that a man as rich as he is never had any slaves and not just that, he loved and cared for Lily like he would for his own blood daughter. He helped her harness her talents and made her dream become reality. Williams is indeed such a kind man.
