I have quite recently begun the book today. I'm finished by about its third and it excited me to the most. I preferred the incorporation of guides toward the start of the book for the peruser to comprehend the whereabouts of the intriguing occasions. I additionally got truly disheartened by the surprising demise of Tom-Tom despite the fact that it happened right off the bat in the book. Sheldon prevailed with regards to portraying him as an exquisite person and I truly felt for Sarah, his granddaughter. I haven't perused the initial 2 books in the series, yet I'm wanting to do as such soon.I rate Totem 4 out of 4 stars since I truly delighted in perusing it as well as the past two books in the series. The original features northern folklore and customs joining dream with secret. It presents a spellbinding experience into the wild and striking disclosures about the past.

I loved the composing style of Charlie Sheldon and the story pace. I understood the characters and felt their strain in the thrilling snapshots of their endeavor to track down replies in Bear Valley. There isn't anything I detested with regards to this book. I adored how 14-year-old Sarah Cooley was depicted. The creator showed her young adult battles in her day to day life and her assurance to safeguard since quite a while ago failed to remember realities and customs.

I would prescribe this book to individuals who need to find an alternate culture, particularly to enthusiasts of secret and experience.

As I read this book, I feel it will be extremely invigorating. Charlie Sheldon has worked really hard. I like Sarah's personality a ton. I additionally like the guides toward the starting that assist you with understanding the places where the thrilling occasions are found. The book fits well in chronicled fiction. The utilization of flashback by Myra to disclose to Sarah how her kin's way of life caused her to understand her significance is astounding. Moreover the utilization of folklore to recounter her kin's experience gives anticipation to the peruser to continue to peruse.
The dream of how the female whale executioner and the bear experienced passionate feelings for to bring forth kids who bear the two characteristics of the guardians is exceptionally imaginative.
The creator likewise gives titles to the sections zeroing in on what or whom we experience. Utilization of tunes to transfer recollections and encounters by youngsters in the legend draws out the job of tunes in various societies.
I additionally like the utilization of exchange to give the work the conversational tone that makes setting genuine.
In any case, as you fit in every part's occasions the completion closes their and the following section takes you to an alternate situation for certain inquiries not addressed in the past part. This makes a few characters not to grow completely. I rate it 3 out of 4 stars.

I gave this book a 4 out of 4. The writing style drew me in right away, especially with the multiple stories being told simultaneously and eventually connecting. The suspense running throughout the book had me not wanting to put it down until the very end. The use of the American Indian lore as ancestral history to the characters and he reverence around the national park was also enjoyable!

Although I enjoyed reading the book and found the plot extremely interesting, I could only give this book 3 out of 4 stars because of the number of errors I found in this book. There were hyphen inconsistencies, wrong punctuation, and misspelled character names, to name a few. I recommend this book to mystery and fantasy fans who enjoy fast-paced and action-packed books.

Actually, I haven't read this book so I wouldn't know how to rate it. My delay in reading has to do with the previous two versions. Is it advisable to read Totem even though I haven't read the first two series of Strong Hearts? Will it affect my enjoyment of the book if I just jump to the third series before reading the first two?

I love Sarah's character. There's so much adventure in this book. The only issue I have is how the author introduces so many characters at once; it's easy to get confused. For me, this book is a 4 out of 4.

I'm only at the third chapter of the book and I already love it, I have read the previous two books of the series and cannot wait to see how this one turns out. Judging by this forum and it's reviews, it is going to be excellent as well

I appreciate how the book includes a lot of history. It appears that the author did a thorough investigation on the culture of Natives in North America. It's an enjoyable read. Can't wait to read the previous books in the trilogy.

The books are stand-alone, all of them, and can be read in any order, but reading the series in chronological order - Strong Heart then Adrift then Totem - is probably the best because then the reader builds into the grand overall tale along with Sarah and he friends.

I am currently reading this book as well. So far, I have to say that I am intrigued by the concept, plot, and setting of the book. However, I do feel that it take rereading the chapters to really understand what is going on--more so, I believe it is because I have not read the other books (which I feel will help me better understand the characters).

The concept of object possessing spirits of sorts and how much it means to the existing of people is really interesting to me! I

My takeaway is the characterization, especially the character Sarah. The maps also makes the book look more like a fiction book, if not for the fact that the author said its non-fiction. I will definitely recommend the series to friends.

In the book, I liked the idea of teenage protagonists having to save the world. Mythology also plays an important part in history and I found it extremely interesting to read about it. The characters, even if they are young, face many problems and you can see how they grow up. In general, the world and the characters are very well built and something new is always happening, so I can't get bored. I haven't finished the book yet, but so far I really like it.

I loved the fact that Sarah was developed as an alrounded character, who equally had her shortcomings. This realistic character development is what endeared me more to her because she represented the typical position of a woman, who is vulnerable and tries to fight off men that want to encroach a conservancy. I'm positive that this book merits three out of four stars. I found the storyline rather slow, as I believe some segments could be omitted without affecting the plot development.
