Sarah. Especially because of her age, it was easier to fall in love with her energy and charisma.

I like the character of Sarah, she is a 14-year-old girl but full of bravery, confidence, and enthusiasm to finding out her culture. She wasn't fearful of the adventures that she faces.

I have to agree with the masses that Sarah was my favorite character in Totem. She feared little and had an abundance of confidence for her age without being arrogant or over the top. Her love for her culture is beautiful as well. I loved how well-developed her character was.

Sarah is my star because she is everything in a woman. She is brave, courageous, and goes for what she wants though she's still young

Well, Sarah Cooley is an easy pick. I notice that many also share the same sentiment here. She has all the quality to give the readers at they want in a character.

Victoria is my favorite character. She's a strong woman. She's able to work professionally and also a single-mom. I look up to her as role-model

Mstrtim wrote: 12 Feb 2022, 10:22 Trying to pick a favorite character, from a book that is rich with incredible characters, is very difficult. If I had a carry-over favorite from the first two books, it would be William, probably because he is closer in age to me than many of the others. But specific to this book, I would say that my favorite character is Victoria. I was taught from an early age to watch out for the true protagonist in a book, with the qualification being that the protagonist is the one who is changed the most within the confines of the story. For me, this would be Victoria, a professional woman in a sea of men, and, essentially, a single mother. She digs deeply into herself and second-guesses her values and goals, eventually throwing caution to the wind and standing up for that in which she most believes, the truth and her personal integrity.
I have to agree with this. It is rather though to pick a favorite character in this book, however, for the sake of this post, I would say I am caught between Sarah and Victoria. They are both amazing characters, and that is not an understatement in any way.

I must admit that it is tough for me to select between Sarah and Mary as my favourite character, but Sarah's confidence and boldness forced me to choose her.

Since I haven't read the prequels I believe that a judgement on who is my favourite character will be unfair, but Myra did strike me as someone I wish were in my life.

It was hard for me to decide which was my favourite character. I enjoyed reading about them all. But I'll definitely choose Sarah. She was fearless, charismatic and brave. Her passion was inspiring.
