Sarah Cooley should be my best character. She has so much courage and self-confidence for her age!

Sarah is indeed a very likable and indeed mysterious persona. She has been my favorite throughout because I adore her willpower at such a young age. Sarah all the way!

Before I chose my favorite character, I'd like to commend the author on an excellent job of character development. Sarah's character had a stronger hold on me. Because I am someone who is passionate about culture and its preservation, she struck me as rooted and fierce.

My favorite character was Victoria. She faced a lot of difficult decisions, and I enjoyed watching her character grow throughout the book.

I usually like strong, confident, and brave female protagonists. So, definitely Sarah. I remembered finding her to be annoying at the beginning, but I warmed up to her as the story goes on.

I think that my favorite character was Myra. I love how she taught Sarah about the rituals, told her about the narrative, and encouraged her to believe that the bear she saw was her gift.
