I have not read the prequels and had the same question in mind. I usually prefer to read books in the sequence they are meant to be read however I wouldn't mind reading this piece if it has no relation to its prequels.

I haven't read them yet. However, I did not feel lost reading this one. I might go back and read the 1st and 2nd to get even better clarity

I have not read them yet but I am planning to read them during my vacations which are not far. The third book gives me strong reasons to read them. Usually I don't read the prequels if I have already read the sequels but this book is a special case.

I haven't had the opportunity to read the prequels to Totem. But I feel they will a make a strong connection to one another. Totem was interesting and I'm certain the others will. Things may unlikely be satisfactory except one reads the others.

I have read all three parts of Strong heart and I love the fact that each one though being connected can also be read as a standalone. I think this is a bonus. My favourite part was Adrift. The emotions and the action really intriguied me and I was completely involved in the book until the very end. If possible try reading the series as per the order but that is entirely upto you and not mandatory.

I’ve read Strong Heart, and I think all of the series made by Charlie can be read in standalone. Each book contains different settings that allow us to read it standalone. You may want to start reading any of them, though.

I have read the prequels and I think this book can be read as stand-alone but if someone is a detail lover like me they can also read them as it will add to the readers' entertainment.

I haven't read the prequels yet but I think reading them will further broaden my understanding of the book. I'm reading them soon.

I haven't read the other books in the series but really enjoyed this one. I like that it can be read as a standalone although I'm gonna have to look for the first two.

I haven't read the prequels, but honestly, I feel that the book does well on its own. I would have never realized that there were books before this one. I feel the mysteries unfold themselves while reading the story.

I made a promise to myself to read the first two books of the series. Due to this one being enjoyable the others most likely will be as well. I also feel like it would also strengthen my views on the characters.

I haven’t read the prequels of the book but I’m glad the individual books can be read as a stand-alone. Notwithstanding, I look forward to reading the refuels to get the most out of the book series.

I have not read the prequel to the book. I discovered that some scenes would have been better relatable if I had read the prequel. However, I found it satisfactory because it could be read as a standalone book

I've heard that the books can be read as standalones, but I would not recommend it. I think reading the prequels would give you a better understand of everything and make the store richer.

I havent gotten around to it yet, but I will definitely read them. I mean, it is just so intriguing that I would devour them the first chance I get.
