Charlie Sheldon's writing style and narrative pacing appealed to me. Sarah Cooley, a 14-year-old girl, was brilliantly represented. The author detailed her adolescent family troubles as well as her quest to preserve long-forgotten truths and customs. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like.

This is an enthralling book with a very simple writing style. I couldn't lay hold on to anything until I was done reading this book. Sarah was a character filled with a lot of content she made this book.

It's Sarah's character that potentially made me intrigued to read more of the book. The authors enables the reader to grow with Sarah. Sheldon uses simple language in his narration with exceptional editing. I rated the bood absolutely 4 out of 4 stars since I believe it is a masterpiece.

I'm currently still reading. But Sarah is really making the book more exciting for me. Her character is what's keeping me interested because I want to learn more about her and see how her story unfolds. As for the plot of the story and the rest of the characters I'm not quite sure yet. But I'm willing to keep reading to see if I can draw any other interests besides one character.

I enjoyed reading the book but I would rate it a 3 out of 4 stars because it contains a lot of errors, but overall it's a very interesting book that I would recommend to anyone.

I am kind of hooked on the plot. The book did a good job of maintaining the mystery while bending into some adventure. The characters on the other hand contributed a lot to the plot. The development of the story and the characters goes hand in hand making it even more interesting. I would give this book a solid 4.

I've begun reading the book and am really engrossed. I breezed through the first 50 pages, and the narrative has already deepened. I enjoy the combination of mystery and adventure, as well as the author's careful description of the characters. I believe that teen characters, which are prevalent, require excellent treatment since they become a relatable item for young readers, and Sheldon has done an excellent job thus far.

Mythology blending seamlessly with adventure and mystery, this book was an intriguing masterpiece from start to finish. I love the character development throughout the book. The maps at the beginning proved very helpful and I also love how the author wove history and different cultures into the storyline. It was a really wonderful piece.

To me, the book, Totem by Charlie Sheldon is a good read. The author took pain to let the reader understand what's happening to the planet and the climate change effect. I salute his writing skills and also his ability to educate the reader.

Having read the previous two books in the series, the start of my engagement with this book had high expectations. The author exceeded the expectations by taking me through an empathetic story filled with tension especially the events in Bare Valley. The character development of Sarah was exquisite exposing her struggles through adolescence. This book was a masterpiece.
