Do you agree with Victoria being an environmentalist as well as successful buisness person that you can mine without disturbing the environment?

Victoria is an agressive and ambitious character. I believe though interested in mining she can apply her knowledge to carry out eco-friendly activities. However, deceit being part of human nature can be used to twist the human heart. So it's a tricky question.

It depends on how you look at it and her. If her business ventures don't harm the environment, then, it is okay, but, if they then it is not possible. It is dependent on the kind of person she is.

I think this is not a black and white issue. Is it possible to have environmentally friendly mining practices. If so, the Victoria can be both but if all mining practices harm in some way, shape or form, the environment then she is being hypocritical

You can't be an environmentalist while having a business centered in mining. Environmental friendly mining practices are just words. Mining harms the environment.

In my opinion, doing a mining business and also be an environmentalist is not possible together. Because, mining, generally, disturbs the nature. So, I think that it is her hypocrisy.

I do not know enough about mining to give facts about it. But I do know enough about business and human nature to say that while one can begin with environmental ideals, once the money, people, and everything else starts pressuring... those ideals might start to fade

No I don't and that's one thing with we humans we are never satisfied with money. We source of different ways to make it even if it's contracdictory to our discipline or believe. Victoria is a successful business woman and an evironmentalist so why adding mining to the list the question is simple "money" so definitely it will disturb the environ.

Victoria brings to mind the concept of People, Planet, and Profits. She postulates economic development with environmental considerations. However, the activity of mining itself can never be in the same context of ecosystem care. The very act of mining disrupts the fragile terrestrial environment and every other organism that leaves above or below the surface. Additionally, the chemicals used are inherently harmful. So despite Victoria's ambitious character, there is some falsehood to such claims.

I think that anyone can be anything (s)he puts in heart to do. As such, I believe the duality of Victoria's character is realistic.

I completely agree. For everything we do there are always environmentally friendly alternatives.. if she chooses to be an environmentalist over things and others not, she is definitely a hypocrite!

I think being an environmentalist and at the same time harming the earth with your business is irrelevant. However, a strong desire for a person can reflect creative ways to solve the problem.

I'm not sure whether all mining practices would harm the environment to the same extent. Maybe some are very harm , but mining is extremely important to get many minerals. I think that someone could be environmentalist and agree to some important mining practices if the benefits of mining outweigh the harms.
