This is true. However in the regard to Victoria's character, I think she was a person committed to her principles. I like to think she would approach mining with caution.

I think it's a tricky balance. You would need to be super diligent in tracking practices and offsetting your footprint.
Look at Leonardo DiCaprio. He is an environmentalist, but he still uses private yachts and planes.

To be honest, that is utterly unrealistic. You can't be an environmentalist and capitalize from mining. That's totally unacceptable.

I think it is okay that she was an environmentalist as well as a miner because she rejuvenate the environment after mining as opposed to those who mine with no aim of caring for the environment.

I totally disagree. You can't be both. Mining has negative environment on the environment, so someone who is an environmentalist cannot have a minding business, it's like having shared belief in contrasting ideas.

I've always known mining to disturb nature. Aside it's benefits, it's a practice that cannot be done. Being an environmentalist and a miner doesn't sit well with me.

I think it works alright in this context. There are a lot of businesspeople (one might even say most of them) that put profit ahead of the environment. However, there are a lot of people in the business-world who care about the environment. I think it shows hope to combine these two traits into one character.

I think Victoria can be both an environmentalist and a successful businessperson, it just depends on who you are and how willing you are to put away some factors that are not beneficial to the environment.

I think Victoria is a deceitful character. It is impossible to conduct the business of mining without harming the environment. Therefore, she cannot be environmentalist and a miner at the same time.

Victoria cannot be an environmentalist and a miner at the same time. It is cannot happen in real life. I have never heard of a miner that really cares about the environment.

Having business interests in mining and being environmentalist cannot go hand-in-hand. Mining is harmful to the planet, it disturbs so many ecosystems. Despite Victoria's ambitions, it will prove very difficult for her to reconcile her interests. I think it is common sense, because how can you tear something apart from the inside while keeping it intact?
Eco-friendly solutions can be found for other businesses, however I doubt it is the case in the mining industry.

I think Victoria has a lot of morals and values that she learned from her dad who was indeed an environmentalist. So as an adult, she is able to weld both business and environment together into a new way of approaching mining that is not all about profits and reduces harm to the planet.

I believe this is realistic. One can genuinely undertake mining while still preserving the environment for example through rehabilitation of land.

I do believe you can practice environmental friendly mining, but I don't believe you can make it 100% environmental friendly. When mining, you are disturbing the earth and everything living in and on it. So doing your utmost to do as little damage as possible, is a great venture, but I also believe money will in most cases also come into the picture, and it might not be on the environment friendly route.

The majority of the time, things depend on the individual, and some people can multitask. It is acceptable if her economic endeavors do not hurt the environment, but it is not possible if they do.
