I reckon the cover is very appropriate. Although at first glance it may seem a bit misleading, once you settle into the book, the cover then seems more relatable.

The impression I get is the kind of thoughts the author has and the kind of actions he would take , if he had the opportunity to face off with his enemies.

At first sight, one might not be able to relate the name of the book to the cover but after reading it, they will come to understand it. So, I think the cover says so much about the story.

In my opinion, the book cover does its job well, even at a glance, it gives a summary of the book, which is what a book cover is supposed to do.

The chaos that is depicted in the cover of the book is representative of what is to follow in the book such as war and conflict. In this regard I think it fit quite well with its context.

I sort of love the idea that the cover only becomes obvious once you've read the book. It's a piece that only those who are in the know can truly understand and share.
Like racism itself, if you know, you know.

Honestly, the cover of the book simply went over my head. I think I see a bit of war and racism passed through it, but it doesn't really bring out the authors unique perspective on the book. If it was by the cover alone, I would have passed on this great book.

I thought the cover was a bit much until I found out that the themes of the book really matched the cover. The chaos you see on the cover actually reflects the chaotic experiences of the author.

This is a great point.

The cover was interesting to me, but the themes inside make the cover make sense.

I think the cover page is a depiction of what you can find in the book. It is pertinent to the context. The author did a great job. I would have read the book just because of the cover page.

The book cover was not very appealing. First impressions are important. Therefore, the book cover is the first impression you get from a book. I would not read this book based on the book cover. I would definitely go for something else that has more immediate appeal.

I think the cover was appropriate for the book. I think potrayed the racism in Vietnam although I didn't quite understand it at once

The cover portrayed the themes in the book but I think the author should have used a more attractive or appealing cover as many people are drawn by book covers.

The cover will actually turn a lot of people off. Especially those who are not interested in racism. It somehow depicts the story.

I think the editing team picked a long route to get to the point. A classic situation of racism hidden in plain sight.
