Obviously, at first glance, the cover does not seem to correspond with the title but the moment you read the book you realise the cover fits perfectly.

The cover does what it needs to do for the type of book it is. But I still do think the design lacks a bit of direction.

To be honest I couldn't really connect the book cover to the title. Only after reading the book was I able to make sense of the cover. The cover is fitting but it does not immediately tell you what to expect from the book, which centers on racism.

The art cover of the book was very appreciable but it does not pass the message of war which is what the book is about.

The book's cover wasn't at all enticing. But then again, it seems relevant to the topic discussed in the book. The book is about rascim so the cover portrayed it well. It also made me understand to some extent, what I was about to delve into. The cover didn't really change how I admire this book.

The cover was initially perplexing to me, finding it difficult to decode what the book was all about, but after reading the book, I believe it well conveys the novel's theme of racism.

I do not think the cover is a good representation of the book. It did not depict racism as it is interwoven in the book and is not related to the storyline. That's my opinion

I didn't understand the cover until I read the book. It then made sense because it depicted the racism which was talked about in the book.

I liked the cover page. However, the cover page was a bit confusing I had to go through the content of the book in order to grasp the picture of what the cover page entails.

The book cover was very suggestive to me. It illustrated the most significant theme, racism, even without reading the book description before. Color discrimination and domestic violence were reflected in the picture of a black man watching a black woman hit by an oppressive authority. This brutal visual imagery made me believe that "the enemy" was racism. Also, the men with leaf hats indicated that all the injustice was happening in Vietnam.

The art cover was nice, though it contradicts what the book has to say. I had to scan through the book in order to understand the tittle more.

The cover isn't pretentious at all. It is illustrated to show the violence of racism and that is what it did. I like the cover and it does corelate with the book.
