I come across this book several times before but today after reading it, I realized it is a good book on the issue of racism. Racism, as we all know is present everywhere and in some way or other WWE are all somehow racists or the victim of racism. the writing style was simple and was a good read as it addressed the basic issue plus the experience of a black man in Vietnam. it deserves a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

It is safe to say that I like war novels and military fictions. There were too many emotions packed in this short read. The writing was powerful and action packed. It was like really looking at the war scene through the author's eyes. I think people with a broad mind with an interest in books with war background and related to racism will like this book.

I really enjoyed the book especially when Billy Springer shows us the other side of war apart from just murder. The book talks of racism during war in Vietnam, which is a surprise subject. It enables us to self evaluate ourselves that, as a society, we should do away with; racism.

One thing I loved about this book is the author's approach to his story-telling. Not with a tone of judgement or anger, just an insightful author recounting his experiences during a time of war and telling it as it is leaving the reader to pick what he chooses from the book. In the process, I learnt a bit of history, the Vietnamese culture and even more about racism beyond the borders of black skin and I hope this isn't taken as just a story but a means of education and opening for reform, therefore I'll recommend everyone reads this book. A good 3 out of 4 stars

For the lovers of action fiction, this is their book. very interesting piece. The topic of racism tends to be a very serious topic to be discussed even in this generation it tends to be sensitive. one. I was please by how the author tried to bring out the issue of war.it was thrilling would love to read more from the author.

I see My Enemy in Vietnam as an important war history book. It is something that generations to come will learn serious lessons from.

I love the narrative techniques employed by Springer in crafting this literary piece. Springer's first-hand account of this war makes it realistic, touching and influential.

The title, "My Enemy in Vietnam", is one of the aspects that I liked most in the book. The cover is also appealing, and well-designed. I really loved it. The other aspect of the book that I cant forget to recommend is how it is fully packed with action. It was difficult for me to put the book aside. Because of all these aspects, I wholeheartedly award it a full rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The writing style was superb. Events were well-explained. This is a book that I would recommend to those who like intriguing stories and also those interested in Vietnam's war. Generally, there is nothing that I did like about the book.

The book was one of the first books I came across when I got on this platform. I think it was beautifully written but in all honesty, I prefer such genres in movie form. I would have enjoyed it better. If you like reading about detailed war descriptions and intensity, you can definitely go ahead and grab yourself this piece.

I loved this book a lot. It was refreshing to see the authors stance on issues of racism. I enjoyed reading his personal experience as this was a new perspective to what I already knew about the war. This book was written in clear, understandable terms and that stood out for me. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in gaining more insight on the Vietnamese war, as well as people who enjoy war themed books. This was a splendid read for me!

The simplicity of the communication approach was particularly appealing to me. There was no hidden agenda: The author just presented his unique experiences during a key period in American history. This book received a 3 out of 4 star rating from me. Due of editing difficulties, I docked one star. I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about a soldier's personal experiences in the context of the Vietnam War. I learnt a lot about Vietnam as well, and I really liked the simplicity of the language used.

Are war books really my thing? No. But, in a way, the author has made a way to drag me into battlefield with his amazing descriptive words.

In spite of the passage of time, many people's dreams appear to be destroyed due of their race. As a result of living in an ethnically diverse neighborhood, the author harnesses racism on, which he chronicles in this book. He had to overcome a great deal in order to be recognized for his feats. Reading this book will give you a new perspective on the world around you. This book has a lot to offer as an African. As a result, I have given this book a rating of 4 out of 4. The tension in Vietnam during the period is worthy of recalling.

I really love the simple viewpoint and writing style of the author and that he did not represent an agenda. This memoir deserves a full rating since it is true and well represented. All the views that the author describes in the book seems to be true from the facts and this book also represented the issue of racism based on the experience. Therefore I give it 4 out of 4 stars.

It is a book written from deep insight. It is educative and informative, I have to say, I really enjoyed the book. Even though I am not a fan of nonfiction, I am pleased with it.

First of all, the author should be commended. I like the way the issue of racism was tackled. This issue is very delicate, and often, we choose to pretend it is not still in existence.
