Well, initially, I didn't think the cover was appropriate for the book, but as soon as I dived right into the book, I could understand the reason for choosing the cover.

The cover is good for the book, till you read the book that's when you will have an understanding about the cover.

The cover is not that enticing at first but after reading the book, then, it makes more sense.

The cover of this book was a driving force that made me want to read this book, I didn't see anything wrong with the cover.

I feel like the designer of the cover is trying too hard to incorporate the idea of police brutality against blacks into this theme, which I don’t think is necessary. It seems as if there was enough racism within the context of this author’s first-hand experiences during the Vietnam War to stand alone in this book and that’s really what the title is promising us. So yes, I feel the cover is a little chaotic and confuses the issue somewhat.

At first it seemed like a somewhat chaotic scene but once I started reading it seemed very appropriate and I think it was a very good choice.

What do you think?
The cover was very interesting but i realised the use of colour in the cover was very significant to the story of the book and it makes the character in the book stand out which is hugely symbolical to the theme of racism in the novel

Without reading the book the cover seems chaotic and unappealing. I judged the book by its cover and passed it until I read a review that intrigued me. So the cover is deceiving a bit

I'm not really an interpreter of art, but the cover photo of this book does justice to the harsh themes portrayed in the book.

The cover art for "My Enemy in Vietnam," by Billy Springer, was an interesting choice. To me, it does what it wants by being an eye-catching piece of art, additionally, the cover itself seems racist, for the photoshopped paddy hats worn in Vietnam by outdoor laborers, and the portrayal of a woman of color being brutalized by police. However, the cover makes it feel like a caricature of racism, and also seems to portray the "enemy" being police, and without the title, seems like the book is going to be about police brutality.

I don't think the cover conveys the theme of the book all that well, I was only able to understand it after reading the book

Well the cover was a bit discouraging and ambigous. I went through the content before I could finally read.

Looking at the cover, it's very possible not to understand what the book is about. But after being read, it's seen to give an illustration of racism. Reading the book gives a better justice to the cover.

The cover of the book has good balance and color. The chosen font makes the title of the book easy to read. However, after reading the book sample, I would expect the officer to be beating an African American soldier instead of an African American woman. Perhaps the cover depicts a scene from the book that I haven't read yet. Despite that, the theme of racism is clearly depicted.

The art covers has also told what the story would be based on I loved it and it was my motivation for reading this book.

The cover page gave a perfect illustration of what the book was all about, reading the book gave me a more deeper understanding why the display on the cover was so.
