From the right perspective it is wrong for soldiers to kill, but from another angle they are doing the correct thing. This is because they have to stay alive, avoid injry, or get paid.

I think this is a very good question. In my opinion, killing is a sin. It does not matter what the reason is.

If it involves taking the lives of civilians, then that is killing. But if it is a soldier up against another, then that is self-defence.

For whatever reason, killing is a sin no matter who you're killing. I wish humans cam settle their differences without having to wage war on each other

This is an extremely challenging query. To me, killing is killing, regardless of the circumstances. But I believe it becomes a type of self-defense in a combat situation when, if you do not kill, you are also killed.

I once asked myself this question, but I believe that if the killing isn't unnecessary it's not a sin. Since they are killing the enemy of our peace as humans it's not a sin.

This is quite a tricky question and a thought provoking one. I truly don't think there's a right answer. On one hand, they are committing murder and on the other, it is literally their job to do so.

This is a tough question for me I think they are just doing their job. As to protect the interest of the government.

I think killing is sometimes a necessary survival instinct, especially during war. If you don't eliminate the enemy you will get eliminated by the enemy. The soldiers do what they have to for the sake of their lives, their nation, and their people. Hence, they don't sin by killing during war.

I think that it is not a question of committing a sin, it is rather the ideology that they handle from an early age that makes them think that they are heroes when fighting for their country. Fighting with people who have done nothing to you, people with families who die in the field.

I believe that the sin they commit is those who make them believe that what they do is heroism for their country.

I think killing is a sin but what would you rather do when your life is in threat or someone Chase and won't stop at anything to get you killed?.

Killing for the sake of killing is a sin for sure, but in wartime if you're a soldier then I'm sure it may be necessary at times to save your own life or that of your colleagues. I'm amazed the author managed to avoid it and lived to tell the tale.

I do not really think soldiers are committing a sin by killing in war simply because they were given orders and not all disputes can be resolved by dialogue. Most reason war occurs is as a result of greediness but occasionally there are war that are meant to happen. For example if the people of Scotland had not fought a war the Britons would have not let them have their independence.

This is an extremely delicate subject that would require great judgment to answer objectively. The soldiers are merely carrying out their duty, but I still believe that everyone is entitled to a second chance to improve. Speaking with all parties is still a good idea.
