Honestly for me it was when The Scarlet Mistress killed herself. She did that to save her daughter. Everything she did was to make sure her daughter made it out alive. She even cursed the crew for her daughter, and had a whole plan for if and when this was going to happen. I felt for her during this and it broke my heart for not only her but Brandy as well.

Honestly, the whole slave trade thing did not sit well with me but if I have to pick one moment was when Kat sacrificed herself. But then again, mothers would do anything for their children…

It was Brandy's courage and bravery after her mother's death. She knew that she couldn't grieve forever, but she knew she had to survive. This really touched my heart

The scene that got me emotional the most Brady watching her mother die and Kat having to di the way she died. Watching someone die in your presence without being able to do anything is one trauma that will never go away.

The death of Eric got me so bad.
Brandy getting kicked out was bad, but not as painful as Eric getting killed.

The part that had me in an emotional wreck was that part where Brandy's mother died. I could not stop crying. It was just too sad.

Eric's death really hurt, but I felt that the mother's death just hit a place that hurt so much more. The mother's death in front of her child was so tragic.

The reveal that Skinner was Brandy's real father shocked and touched me the most. It explained why he kept looking for her all this time and was just a really wholesome moment.

The scene that made me the most emotional was the reuniting of Davonte and the Captain after him looking for her for years and not having found her yet. It was really sweet and heart-warming to see the two of them get a happy ending, even with the sad way she lost her mother. It was a really happy moment to happen after all of the danger and violence that occurred beforehand.

The scene where Brand's mother gave her life to protect her daughter was the one that made me cry. She didn't give a single thought to herself and only worried about protecting her lovely daughter. It demonstrates the depth of a mother's love.
