After giving it a lot of thought, I realized this answer summed up really well how I felt about it. Life itself cannot be kind. Rather, you need to try your best to overcome the bad and accept the good and, as you do that, life will seem benevolent to you.

I believe God gave us life for a reason and for a purpose. I also think that for some life doesn’t always appear kind. However, what I believe and what I think this books shows is that you can’t dwell on the negatives and move forward and be successful in life. You have to focus on the positives. You can learn from the negatives, but you can’t stay there, otherwise you will always find yourself thinking life is not kind.

I think that life can be very kind or extremely hard. It depends on how you look at it. Both good and bad experiences happen, every day in fact. What’s different is the mindset through which we look at these experiences. One can chose to see their bad experiences as stepping stones, and therefore life will be good. On another hand, one could chose to focus on these experiences to the extent that they start to forget the good ones. To this fellow, life would be extremely difficult. In all, the true determinant of how life ends up being, is us.

According to Rob White, life gives you what you ask for. Hence, we must look into our actions inwardly as it matters how our lives will eventually turn out. If you confess negativity, life will give you negative feedback. On the other hand, a positive confession attracts positivity. As a result, we get out of life, those things we embody.

Life is a succession of joy and sadness, blessing and drought. And it is not for everyone in the same way. Some have more moments of sadness than happiness. So, I won't say that life is benevolent. Yes it is for some people. But those for whom life is benevolent are among the lucky, the gracious.

Life is a product of the choices we make, whether good or bad. And to a reasonable extent, our mindset influences those choices and invariably the life we get to see and experience. However, I do believe that each choice we make has a cascading effect, from us to others and vice versa.

Well, I would the answer would be different for everyone. Not all are born into the same circumstances and while some are often fortunate, others are not.

Life is as kind as you are. But life is also complex. Sometimes we mistake life redirecting us for life being unkind to us because we don't understand the path it wants us to take.

I do agree that life is kind but not all of the time. That is why we have good days and bad days. So if life is kind, why do we have bad days. My husband has always told me"if you never have bad then you won't appreciate the good." Now I can't argue with that. I appreciate the good so much. Sometimes life is what you make it. If I'm given lemons I make lemonade.

When life is a benevolent presence for me, life is a supreme nourishment. I love how that feels. I just want to take this moment to share with you that "benevolence" is a beautiful experience. Simply asking this question, "Life is benevolent. Do you agree?" ... opens you and me to that nourishing experience. Can you feel it? The Maestro thrives on it. I didn't say it that way in my book, but I hope I conveyed it in some way. Thank you :) Rob

I won't say life is kind for real. I'll rather say it's humbling. I know the author is trying to portray life from the perspective of a Christian or a spiritual being, but those that are not spiritual, they won't understand that. I said life is humbling because most of what we want or think about never goes that way, and we have no choice but to accept it.

Life is simply dynamic and will deal us both good and bad cards. It's how we respond at the end of the day that determines whether we end up having more good times or bad ones.

Whatever you believe life is to you and you work towards that, that's what it will be for you. At some points in our existence we might come across tiring situations, and how we will handle them has the possibility of bringing out the best result.

In my opinion, life is unpredictable. It can be either kind or unbearable. According to my own experience, it (life) has been both kind and cruel hence it's unpredictable.

I believe life can be kind sometimes. It depends on your outlook on life. If you go on in life with a positive outlook, life can be very benevolent and rewarding.
