There are numerous distinguishing features in this book. According to me, the unique one is that it pushes you to become a self-advisor. I advised myself a lot when reading this book.

What makes The Maestro Monologue different from other self help books is that it focuses on helping a person discover the incredible potential he has within himself. It helps to push a person towards a path of self discovery.

This book is different because it doesn't just contain motivational lines and instructions, it really connects with the readers. It also includes exercises that are practical.

The tips in ‘The Maestro Monologue’ are easy to practicalise. That differentiates it from other self help books in my opinion.

This book taught me that my greatest enemy is me. Not procrastination, not disappointment, but me. I think that is was differentiated this book from all others for me.

What makes this different from other self help books is the fact that the author takes you systematically to have a conversation with your inner self. In so doing, you get to discover yourself more and more. Plato said "man, know thyself." This point of self discovery is a powerful tool on the journey to success.

What makes this book different is the unique writing style. I think it really helped to keep me interested in the book and the concepts being taught. I also think what was really great about this book in comparison to other self-help books is the fact that the author gives many different examples and analogies to explain each concept. This did feel a bit repetitive at times, but I think that because he did that, there's an example there that everyone can relate to or understand well.

I think the author differentiates his book through his use of realistic questions to the reader. His questions force the reader to actually reflect on their situation and work on improving themselves.

From my perspective, I think the author makes this better than other self help books by pinning the reader down to first accept that success first starts with ourselves before considering other factors.

Maybe the questions the author asks that get you to think, and the practical exercises that help to get your ideas more realistic.

I have read many "self-help" books and they tend to have a common thread of wanting to assist you in changing some of your behaviors. For this reason I would not classify Maestro Monologue as a "self-help" book. Through a combination of very practical exercises and probing questions, you are being encouraged to know yourself more intimately. Then from there you decide what needs to change or not. Not prescriptive or methodical, but rather suggestive.

A lot of other self-help books focus solely on positive thinking - if you don't see results then you are not positive enough. They suggest using vision boards, meditation with vivid visualisation, but they never address the negative, intrusive thoughts all people experience. The concept of the intruder and the brilliant writing makes the Maestro Monologue original and thought provoking. I found this book helpful and enjoyable to read unlike many others I have picked up in this genre.

This one was challenging, realistic, and authentic. It also came with personal experiences and made use of the Bible. And the best of it was the exercises it came with.
