Help opening ebook files (epub, mobi, PDF, etc.)

I need help, please. I only saw all the update emails this morning. I now read that my reviewer score which is low anyway is reduced every time one of these is sent. I feel as if I am being unnecessarily punished here.

I have downloaded the book as an epub? - the one not recommended. I do not want to read the book on my phone and I cannot use Kindle Unlimited. It feels as though some books are just too difficult to access. This is not a user-friendly system - I am struggling to negotiate all these applications and sites.

Surely there is an easier way to do this. Why can't all the books for review be available as a PDF to download?
Please give me some time to try to negotiate through all of this. I can read on my laptop or my Kindle.

I have received no response to my request for help. I keep getting emails to update my status and I keep sending error reports. Clearly this system is not working! In fact - don't bother responding - I quit.

4. After downloading the file, I click on it and my device redirects me to the obc reader app (which I use for reading) I can assess the file from there.
5. Usually when I assess the file from the obc reader app, I can immediately start scrolling to read the book, but with this file it's different. All I see is a blank screen. I cannot navigate through the pages or the book's content.
6. No error message, just a blank screen.
7. Yes, I have tried the tips, the file still isn't opening. At some point, it glitched my system.
